Re: How much do you drink (alcohol)?
Try and avoid North American beers that aren't certified organic or Non-GMO would be my advice. All European beers are Non-GMO. You drink too much to not look into this aspect of it, check out the Institute for Responsible Technology.
As for your liver, a good turmeric supplement, milk thistle, N-Actyl Cysteine, these are all good for detoxifying the liver. Try and give yourself one month of the year where you detoxify, or even two weeks.
Ask your GP to run liver enzymes when you go for annual bloodwork - annual bloodwork is a great way to spot things are starting to fuck up and you may be able to get a head start on beating any degenerative disease that is related to your liver constantly being over-worked.
I used to go through an 8-ball charlie on the week-ends and perhaps 50~70 pints (20oz) weekly. That was 10 years ago. Haven't touched the coke since 2004 and these days I'd say I drink roughly 10 drinks per week. Occasions like DMB @ SPAC, baseball games, F1 races, this number will change but regularly it's around 10 drinks per week.
