My girlfriend and I just booked our hotel @ the Red Carpet in Chesire. I am not positive who you should talk to about organizing this, but I think it would be a fantastic idea. She and I would definitely be there. Sounds like a great way to spend the day before the show. Very cool that you would like to do this.

Seems like you are already getting a good response just posting in this thread, but you could always start a thread specifically for this reason if you want, and get a tentative head count. Official Ants Pre Party Dave & Tim @ Oakdale 11/19. A lot of pre party's I have been to get a local radio station involved and give away some prizes or whatever... good pub for your place too. I don't know if that is an option... just spitballing here.

lol..yeah, well I usually spend at least that on Xmas and we have young kids and, though, we managed to fly out for the Wrigley shows, it is not easy to get away plus you never know when D&T will come around again. We've only seen D&T once and that was Boone.

i thought about it, but would rather have the chance to be closer.

How positive are we this is the way the warehouse will be running this? There will be a lottery to see if you will get a seat, and then seniority will be used to assign your seat?

It kind of sucks that this is so close to Thanksgiving, I'm debating coming home for this and then coming back home 3 days later for Thanksgiving.

I have never seen D&T though....hmmmmm.

I'm trying really hard to be at this show. I need to get to a Dave and Tim show at some point, why not now? Hopefully the non warehouse ticket sales will not make it too difficult to get a ticket/a decent seat.

Pros: Private room, private bathrooms, drink service, great view above the crowd, nobody to get in your way.

Cons: you're not as close as you can be in the seats...i was 6th row in 2003 for D&T at the Oakdale and it was amazing.

I wouldn't assume that VIP means the boxes. VIP may be the first x rows. In fact, based on past shows it's the front number of rows not boxes.

I could be wrong but I know for a fact that many of the boxes are owned by "season ticket holders" and are purchased on a yearly basis. Not that there can't be boxes for sale but from what I remember they are sold much like boxes are sold for MSG and so on. Not that there won't be any but there might only be 3 or 4 and will cost a totally different price.
