from what i've read at met's forum, possibility of US arena tour in August-September, then December into early 2019. supposedly, dates to be announced next monday (26th). don't know the significance or credibility of the rumor, but sharing here for what it's worth

Gah I want to see Metallica so bad. One of a handful of bands that I really want to see before they hang it up.

Hoping they hit Memphis or Nashville at the very least.

nothing within 3 hours of NYC from what I originally saw of the list, which was pretty amazing to see. surprisingly live in one of the music capitals of the world and will have to travel numerous hours to see metallica. go figure

The price range for the shows near me (Madison, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Grand Rapids) is $65-$135 at the top end, why would they be so much more for the State College show?

no nyc area date is bs. but maybe more to be added in 2019. no more shows for 2018. that puts them at or around the 50 shows in 2018 mark and they dont do more than 50 ever.

looks like the dec 7 and 9 rumored dates ended up being true. surprised the tour extends that well into 2019, but they tend to tour in 2-3 week intervals with breaks so they can see family. happy that the cleveland show is in a different leg. more song variety. score
