Yeah, I am. I find the majority of the album to be way too straightforward. I'll download the new one tomorrow, and some of the earlier stuff as well. But aside from some songs, I don't feel YHF.

the only "straightforward" tunes on the album would be Heavy Metal Drummer and I'm The Man Who Loves You.

if you don't like YHF, then you probably won't like Wilco. sorry.

Well that's a pretty bold statment. I think you hold YHF in a little too high regard. Don't get me wrong, I like YHF, but not as much as Being There. And although it's just how I feel about it, I"m sure there are others that feel that way too. Not everyone likes the same thing as everyone else. That's one think I LOVE about this thread, I get new/different ideas all the time!

maybe. YHF is still "the" Wilco album.

and how can you say YHF is too straightforward, then go get Being There and AGIB and like them better? that doesn't make sense.

This is true, if being "too straightforward and poppy" was the primary reason for not liking YHF.

Yeah, I think that's my favorite track off that album. A VERY close second is Ada. Just beautiful.
