I really need to start keeping up on this thread again. I just back read like 15 pages and got many lulz.

Related, I'd love if DMB started doing something like the Live Bait series Phish does. C'mon cap$haw.

not a ton to keep up on lately!

to the bolded...i agree with this SOOO much......why not?

make a 10 song disc available for free download once or twice a year...would it really break the bank that much?

Phish does their fans right....not that I think DMB screws their fans or anything, but the fact that you can get any phish show within 15 minutes of its completion (included in your ticket price, i might add) just shows that DMB is way behind on things like this...and then they throw out free downloads every so often

the festival Live Bait they put out right before Superball last year is/was EPIC....had like 40 songs on it....FREE

Yeah i would love for the sbd's of every show to happen with DMB. not only would I download the ones I've been to but id shell out the 10 bucks or whatever for at least a few other shows a tour as well.

Unfortunately it looks like Coran goes with two very different models for Phish fans vs DMB fans which is too bad...

Although to be honest I've been on a bit of a DMB hiatus lately. I haven't really listened to any in a few weeks. Post Alpine DMB break I suppose haha.

    Teh Alpinez > all.

Although me and my girlfriend were talking the other day about how Deer Creek has the best/friendliest lawn ever, which Alpine definitely does not! The crowd energy there is incredible, and it will always be my first/home venue, but that place is a magnet for d-bags. DC is just so mellow it's awesome.

I love DC for the camping weekend
I love Alpine for the venue/show atmosphere

    Each has its outstanding qualities.

For sure. They each have their ups and downs. I think I need to sample more venues though. I'm gonna try really hard for the gorge next year!

Same here. Ive already started saving for next year so I can make it happen. Yea, I went last year, but I want to experience just a DMB weekend, not a Caravan weekend.

Edit: It would be badass if we got a creek group to the Gorge

I've never been but I have a friend who has twice and says its the greatest place on earth. I feel like its just a must for any DMB fan at some point. Id also still like to do SPAC at some point but I can't afford a SPAC trip and a gorge trip in the same summer.

Gorge is amazing. The view from the lawn is out of this world to watch your favorite band perform. Front row at the Gorge is also pretty fantastic.
