Season premiere starts in just over a half hour! Can't wait.

There was a cool half-hour long preview special the other night that showed a lot of the work on the Seinfeld 'reunion' plot.

Good review of next week's episode here:

I absolutely loved it. Great storylines, but the dialogue was lacking a tad. But you could tell they needed to set some things up.

Even in his short dialogue, Leon is still amazing.

I can't wait to see the Susie blow-up if it eventually comes to light that Jeff banged Funkhouser's mental patient sister.

I honestly couldn't believe he fucked her.

The confrontations with the doctor were the best I think.

Larry fainting had me rolling over laughing, I had to rewind that like 3 times.

Leon- also still amazing, despite his brief appearance. Jeff fucking Bam Bam = gold

Two other lines that had me cracking up:

"Don't condescend me with your tiny pear."

"Jeff said I was top 10!"

Also I'm surprised they didn't do anything with the "warning" Marty gave Larry near the beginning of the show (The empty gesture conversation between the two of them was gold) about not looking Bam Bam in the eyes. I thought for sure something would have happened from that.

I also think the scene with Cheryl was very well done. For that, they needed to get just a little dramatic and they ended up doing it very well.

I have a feeling they may do something with that 'warning' later in the season maybe? Part of LD's genius is that he's willing and knows the right time to pass up an easier, cheaper laugh in order to set up a big one down the road.

I also loved the exchange with Larry and Susie over Susie not telling him who was coming to the dinner party.

i guess the show needs to change up in order to keep it from getting stale....but season 1-5 are gold imo. the show is still funny, and better then 90% of tv but, i hate not having larry and cheryl together, and the blacks just dont do it for me, they are pretty funny but i like the way the show used to be more

I get what you are saying. I have a feeling that Larry and Cheryl will end up back together at some point. I like the Blacks but the only I one *really* want to stay on the show is Leon. Loretta, Auntie Rae and the kids are fine, but Leon is key.

I really enjoyed Season 6, but I honestly thought Sunday's premiere was funnier than any single episode of the last season.

    Better than "The N Word"?

Hell no. "The N Word" is one of their best episodes ever. As good as any of Season 2 (IMO the best).

'The N Word' and 'The Lefty Call' were easily my 2 favorites of last season.

I agree with you Season 2 was the best, along with 3 for me. Season 2 has what is probably my favorite ep ever, 'Trick or Treat'.
