Why The Hate for Covers?

I think people are just sick of seeing it in the setlist rather than the actual song itself, which is a terrible way of looking at music IMO

Sure I/we can...and we have to as they are going to play covers.

I don't want any covers, but we must resign ourselves to the fact that they're going to play them (hopefully no more three cover nights for me). Given that covers will be played, it would be preferable to hear new covers and potentially covers of newer songs.

Besides which, this is an intergoogles thread, there are no rules! Especially regarding having it anyway we want in any given moment.

its just another freaking waste of time that is put into sets. No reason to play this when they have so many great songs of their own.
