I honestly dont read any blogs unless something really grabs my attention. I enjoy other stuff like barstool gametime instagram and 5th year.

Chaps, Clem, Glenny, Rone, Caleb and Donnie in China are the best additions they have had.

Cant stand some of the younger people though like Tex and Octagon Bob etc.

Oh, my dog turns 14 today, so I can't wait to get home and spend time with him. The other box for his doghouse should be there when I get home so hopefully I'll get that together for him.

That Adam Best stuff was really fascinating to follow. Even if you agree with his initial point, the takedown was quite something to see unfold.

Few weeks ago I bought a first edition (1967) copy of the book called "The Unlikeliest Hero." It is a ghost written autobiography of Cpl. Desmond Doss (CMOH, ww2, PTO) - he was the lead character in Hacksaw Ridge for anyone who doesn't recognize the name. The book is in great shape, the dust cover is perfect and wrapped in Mylar - whomever owned this prior to me really took care of it. Anyhow, I was putting it away after I finished it today and the dust cover fell off and at first I was annoyed at myself and concerned that perhaps I had ruined it somehow - I didn't. Anyhow, when that cover fell off an index card also fell out, turned out that index card was signed by Doss himself and had his home address - apparently he mailed it to the person who previously owned the book. So yeah, that made me pretty darn happy today!

I got two callbacks for job applications I put in for over the weekend and a great recommendation for a third from somebody who already works at that company. Here's hoping!

Seeing a dog with it's head out the window absolutely beaming with happiness. I just realized on my ride to grab some lunch that seeing this, no matter my mood, always makes me smile. I was stuck behind some asshole doing 28mph (and braking down hills and around corners) pissing and moaning the whole way... then I see Rufus just absolutely loving life and it changed my whole attitude.

    Love dogs.

I went to a reading when he was promoting the fables book. he's super nice at those events. I actually sent him a letter when I was in 7th or 8th grade, he replied via postcard from paris

It's never rude to interrupt someone to point out a dog. Moving to an apartment complex that allows dogs was a great decision I made.

Saw a dog with it's head out the window on my way to work yesterday and it smashed it's face off a bunch of branches when the driver drove way too close to a tree sticking out on the road. Seems like it would be obvious you should keep some distance when driving, especially in that situation. Poor dog could have had eye damage.

Unfortunately, due to his hips, this is as close as my dog can get to his head out of the window.
