I won two shows this year. And have some top 10's.

Congrats, sir. You're my measuring stick after shows and before results are posted. I click over to the "players for this show" list and compare mine to yours sometimes haha. Then add up the points between us. Finished 10th this year, and staying in the top 15 or so the whole year kept me playing each show. Usually I give up at about the midway point. But it was a blast this year!

Side note: DMB almanac has Dodo tease as the opener to the last show. If that is factored into the game, then I hit Dodo/Stone as 1-2 and I wonder how much that would change the points. Also, I wouldn't be over by a song...Just curious.

What do you think Dave will play on Saturday at the Many Rivers Festival and why do you think that?

I think

1. DDTW is a lock; he plays it pretty much whenever he plays solo.

2. So Damn Lucky is very likely; he plays it a lot when he plays solo.

3. Crush is also likely; he plays it a lot when he plays solo.

Otherwise, any thoughts?

Also, as we all know, DMB shows draw almost all white audiences. This may be the biggest primarily black audience he's ever faced. I wonder if that and the "social justice" reason for the event will inspire Dave to play certain songs.

According to the festival sitems and an ajc article it's a full Dave Matthews set.

Yeah if its a full set I will be shocked if Dave doesnt bring Tim along. But Tim is about to leave for a tour with TR3 so who knows.

There has been no mention of Tim at all in any posting about the festival. I highly doubt he will be there and I really want it to just be Dave. I've never seen Dave Solo and this will be my most cost effective chance.

Didnt that posting by the festival also list "dave matthews band" before? So I wouldnt put much stock into that.

But I hope it is solo. That would lend very well to him playing some solo shows in the future.

Could be, he does that hammer on thing with D major / Dsus a lot and that's how KTP starts, my guess is he was just screwing around as it's the first chord of Ants

Kind of what I was thinking too but when it was the first chord I heard my mind went to ktp. Probably not a tease in his mind, though it could probably be called one
