For whatever it's worth....

I run around the country catering to and vending at music festivals. I recently bought a touring bus for my business. The guy that sold it to me purported to be the Exec Chef for Americrown. They are the catering company that handles most of the super speedways in the US. Daytona, Talladega etc and Watkins Glen. He asked if I ever heard of Phish and I was like "yeah, a little" and he proceeded to tell me that it was super hush but they were putting a festival on at Watkins Glen next year. Go figure!

I don't ever purport to "know a guy" but this unsolicited tidbit got me excited.

College!!!!! You are going back to Watkins Glen as our team mascot!! Once an alum always an alum.

yeah seems like the rumor for WG18 is gaining a lot of steam. sure hope wifey is ok with me going next year! she went to SBIX with me but had no interest in MB. we also didn't have a young daughter at home so that may change things. we shall see...

I have an extra for all 4 nights. Everyone talks about Cash or Trade but I’m not selling them for fave when I had to pay fees and shipping on them.

You still charge the exact amount you paid for them. Face + fees. You don’t sell for just Face of the ticket and eat fees and shipping.

Oh word? I’ve never used it but everything I’ve seen has been nothing over face, no tickets plus cash, no two tickets for 1 ticket.

I use CoT pretty regularly.Yeah, shipping and fees are generally included. The bolded isn't necessarily true. For instance, if you had a floor and wanted to trade it for a seat, it's perfectly acceptable to make the trade and receive the difference in cash to balance it out.

That being said, I might have a person or 2 interested in some/all of your extras, so if you want to shoot me seat loc's I can pass it along to them.

Yeah every deal Ive done on CoT includes fees. Just like if you sold DMB tickets here.

Since this seems to have also become the Twiddle/jamband thread, figured I'd post here. Saw them last weekend. I know, I know. They were better than I expected, but definitely still Twiddle. Walked in during a solid attempt at a Reba ripoff, and somewhere between that and a ripoff Layla jam, there was some pretty good instrumentation. The keyboardist impressed me a few times. Their jams were kind of a cross between Phish and Disco Biscuits. They really need to develop some originality, but worth seeing if they are in your town, cheap, and you have nothing else to do. Still hate that hipster Mihali. Dude had a shitty grin while doing a sustain. Not just any sustain, it was clearly lifted from Trey. I mainly just wanted to see how they stack up against all the other hamblands I'll be seeing at Hulaween this weekend.

To actually keep things relevant: Is Gordo's band worth seeing? Only a fan of a few of his solo songs. Also gonna have to choose between Ween and Lotus if anyone has advice?

I know SCI is headlining and I am fan, but Ween will be the best band there. Go see them over anyone else.

Really not into EDM, but there's so much damn music that I already have enough choosing to do. Looking forward to Thursday: Spafford > Lettuce > UM > JRAD > UM > JRAD > Greensky

Ween is a better band. To me Ween is in the same realm as Phish. No they don't jam like Phish and they're nothing at all like them but their ability to cross genres is almost unparalleled. Fantastic songwriting too. They are probably the most underrated band in music history imo.

I've only heard a handful SCI songs before. They're EDM now? Or jam bands equivalent of EDM (JEDM)

Not really, just went a tad untzy in recent years. Same band they've always been, but they've added a beat box for some songs. Is that called JEDM?

Currently listening to a tasty SBD of 12/31/93. Phish doesn't get much tighter (in the sense, of executing complex composed sections) than this.

Nice! Mine arrives Tuesday! Got that sweet shirt from the Dry Goods store so it meant a few days delay instead of ordering from Amazon.

It was kinda wild. After taxes, Amazon was gonna be like $109 but to order the shirt bundle from Dry Goods it was $114 after taxes. Sure it'll take a few days longer to deliver but seemed like a no brainer.
