Acting, I think. She mentions in the S4 finale that she wanted to be an actress and then gave it up when people told them her pearly whites were too big.

I'd have had Pete Campbell pegged as Glass Joe.

I'm betting we see more of Julia Ormond. That seems like an inordinate amount of heavy weight for a one-shot guest appearance on Mad Men.

It's the law of economy of character development. You don't throw a bunch of money at an actor/actress you're not going to use.

Although, when Lost brought in Michelle Burke, I thought for sure they were going to end up using her for more than just her introductory episode, and they didn't. I'm not fully comparing her with the likes of Ormond, but I thought she was big enough to not bother having her just for that role.

and it cracks me up how blatant they made it that she was blowing Roger, with the full on her head going straight up and down so clearly

Now you just need to hire some secretaries.

Everyone thinks Megan is so hot, but that mouth detracts from any potential attractiveness, at least for me.

so FYI, looking at the new Entertainment Weekly mag there's a bit talking about how an episode of Inside The Actors Studio in a couple weeks will be the Mad Men cast, it appears as though it's only Jon Hamm, January Jones, John Slattery, Christina Hendricks and Kiernan Shipka included. But damn there's a quote here from Lipton saying he had the group on stage for almost 6 hours, yet the episode will still be the usual 60 minutes (they have with some big guests in the past done a 2 hour version). um, can we like get a directors cut on this one?

I don't find her that hot at all, honestly... I'd still fuck her, it's just that there are thousands of girls I'd rather fap to.

Further evidence I'm super late on pretty much everything. Did you guys know the woman who plays Roger's ex-wife Mona, Slattery's married to her in real life? she's also the real ex-wife of George Clooney.

Also, Don hating SCDP. But that doesn't really work with his character so isn't really a sustainable long-term thing.

Describes my feeling perfectly. I watched S1-3 at once, within two or three weeks. Every episode I couldn't believe how good I thought it was and how much I truly enjoyed watching it.

It seems kinda odd to me that I feel like that because this show is just about an advertising agency whereas BB, TW, SOA, etc... have much more interesting storylines. Really just speaks to the brilliance of MM, IMO. GoT is right there too.

I feel this season so far has been less advertising business related and more character driven so far which I like. Plus, I don't miss January Jones at all thus far. Not sure how many other shows could get away with the abscene of a major character and not miss a beat.

All of the shows I listed are character driven, IMO. The "background" of those shows are what I feel is more interesting. So for this show to do what it does speaks volumes to me. I think JJ has been phased out. I think she's going to make a major comeback though. Just my opinion.
