This is a thread that was preexisting and no one had a problem with it. Sure we just got a little off base from Dave's politics just now, but we can steer it back.

Still always makes me chuckle when people try to relegate discussion on Ants anyhow. "Hey now guys can't have any off topic stuff or get off the beaten path, how else we going to stay on track with all the activity on this website anyhow" Like bruh there are 50 people active at any given time and like 3-5 threads that get activity any given day. I say let people chatter away wherever makes sense to them.

Yes, lol, by name calling and broad, swooping generalizations that lack substance. It is a good way to silence someone though. I’m not even a full-on conservative, however the inability to have a discussion without outlandish fallacies is why I can never find common ground with those on the far end of either side. However, I will go back into my hole regarding politics so that this thread can get back on track lol

Not my rule. Over the years most threads that steer into politics like this one has become locked, so in an attempt to keep a thread open and allow those that were taking part in political chatter, I offered up an alternative.
