It was that bad. It was almost as unbearable as Spid3rman. It was just another example of the absolute garbage that gets green lit by Hollywood executives today.

The 2 saving graces of Superman Returns were Kevin Spacey and Parker Posey.

    haha...

    Wow, Bo...

Usual Suspects is great, yes and maybe Xmen 1 & 2 are very good but that's all he has.

Nolan has not struck out once.

    Memento
    TDK
    The Prestige
    Batman Begins
    Inception (Will be...)

    Are all A+

While Following and Insomnia are still high B's or Low A's.

I enjoyed Following and Insomnia a hell of a lot more than Memento or Batman Begins.

Singer has House MD too, but I know that doesn't really count.

I'm just talking for Superhero movies. Singer has made 2 AMAZING ones, Nolan made one amazing one, and one I didn't care for at all. Also, Singer made Apt Pupil, which was just fucking awesome.

X2 was such a deeper movie than Dark Knight. I get where he was going with Returns, though it was incredibly botched. Mostly by having Spacey play the worst Lex Luther EVER.

No way. DK is better than X1. X2 is better than both. X1 is better than Begins.

    No. TDK > Batman Begins > X1 > X2

I didn't care for X2 as much as I did X1, unless you would put X1 ahead of Batman begins, because I could see a case for that.

X2 was a masterpiece of storytelling and arguably the greatest allegorical film about the outcasting of homosexuals ever.

I can agree with the second part of that statement to some extent, but I don't really agree with the first part.

The last one we watched was Four Rooms. It was quirky, but good. Anything Quentin Tarantino takes part in is awesome.

Before that, I watched Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. I'm a big Guy Ritchie fan too, so this one was great.

As long as we're all in agreement that X-Men: The Last Stand was terrible, I think we'll be OK.

For post-2000 "Great" (Main) Superhero Movies...

Wolverine, Both Hulks, Daredevil, F4/F4 II, andSuperman Returns are utter trash
    ---------------------------

While Watchmen, Hellboy, Constatine, History of Violence, and Sin City are not ranked because they are not long standing comic series... (meaning over 40 years of issues and spawned off titles)

I've only watched X2 once all the way through (liked it too), then gave it a second watch and was bored immensely by it. Never sat through the whole thing a second time.
