Another week has passed without this release. Still anxiously sitting here in Charlotte, NC hoping this gets put out for my pleasure soon.

Man, yeah. I was bummed when no tape surfaced from the show. I didn't see a taper there and was like... "oh man if this turns out to be good...." .... then we got that badass encore. We have 2 tapers for this show this year so it doesn't happen again. But I hope this comes out soon.

Their plan all along must have been to save this for the 28 day break, or they simply decided not to release this after all. I don't understand.

I was at the show and there was definitely a taper. They were literally about 10 feet from me. They were in the very front of the lawn section in the dead center. It was raining a little and they had the microphone mounted about 10 feet in the air and covered with a plastic bag. I always assumed to protect the mic from the rain. Don't know why a recording never surfaced. I know that there was some major sound problems on the lawn. Some of the main speakers that projected the sound to us went in and out many times during the show. I remember thinking when that was happening that the tapers wouldn't both releasing the show because of all the interference caused by the speakers going in and out.

I really hope they release this. It was my favorite time bomb.

Or they were contemplating the shows release and then pulled the plug. Fans wouldn't have had any idea about it except for people messing with urls.

Pretty cool they are doing these things even if the shows aren’t that good. Although this show looks decent for the year

The amount of "free" music they're giving out this year is really nice

I don't know what to tell you, they decided to release an '18 show to help promote summer '19 (Why would they release something from another touring year for that purpose?), this release isn't taking away any slots from whatever year you want releases from. And they're not limiting this to Warehouse members only.

This is cool... I wasn't enamored with the performance (no violin mostly), but the setlist was pretty good considering... and it's cool of management to recognize a release the wasn't taped and ge tit out there. Always cool to get a show you were at. First live release from Charlotte, I believe.

Webstore is a mess right now, although I'm not sure if it's because everyone is trying to download this show, or if it's just usual webstore shenanigans. I wasn't able to complete checkout with the free download, although once I added a DMBLive show it went through fine. Now download manager is throwing error codes. I'm sure someday, after many email exchanges with Warehouse, I'll actually hear these shows.

On the bright side, the download code works for the Flac files.

I know it happens more and more lately that a show doesn't get recorded, but I still kind of wish they would release the 8.31.10 show from Boise ID that wasn't taped. That was the last time sweet up and down was played live.

Looking forward to hearing the Charlotte release when I get home.

I think it's a stars aligning kind of thing. They wanted to release a show with the new lineup, picked this one because they knew people would go for it and be somewhat hungry to hear it since it wasn't in the trading circles. If they weren't going to release something, they probably wouldn't have given it a second thought.

Although not the same without Boyd, I really like the reworking of LIOG on this release. Definitely a highlight for me.

Agreed. It isn't the same without the violin, but Tim's solo here is actually very good. And Buddy is great as well. It almost reminds me of the Dave & Friends days, which is awesome.
