I'm really late to this (I almost always hold off and binge watch shows) but I am on episode 4. Just started watching and reading this thread as I go through each episode.

So far, LOVE this show. It's very different from anything else. The constant mystery and questions make it fun to binge watch.

I've just finished episode 6 of Season 2, reallly enjoying watching this on 4K UHD and for those with decent HT set-ups wondering if the bump is worth it, for Season 2 it's an emphatic yes! Full 4K workflow and amazing Dolby Atmos sound throughout. The HDR is phenomenal. I do find you have to pay attention, but being able to watch 2-3 eps a week definitely helps in that regard vs. week to week. Such great casting throughout.

HBO doesn’t offer a 4K stream....or Atmos (outside of disc based media).

So I know everyone here has already watched this through but my thoughts - I'm about to start S01E09.

I think the two timelines do exist. What convinced me was when MIB saw the one lady out in the open (Same lady as who welcomed William) and made the comment "Ford keeps you guys around, etc."

I'm betting on William really sinking into this world, his real life fiance/wife dying, and now he's the MIB. Per earlier episode, two other guests tried talking to MIB saying "We really love your organization" -- I think William started some sort of charity after his wife passes away and sinks further into the Westworld.

My leading theory anyway. I definitely think we have two timelines.

PS: Best part of this show is the subtle phrases, clues, etc. "What door" was one of my favorites.

PSS: I hope Elise comes backs, loved her character.

Well worth waiting for the physical media then, just finished WW S2.7 (Les Écorchés) and I’m constantly in awe of both picture and sound. And wow, what a great episode this was...so much shit goes down!

Well, just finished S2. I thought last three episodes of S2 were very strong. Maybe the strongest of the series. Solid 3 1/2 hours of tv.

Now to wait for S3.

this looks like an entirely different show and I think that's a great thing. they needed a bit of a reboot after S2. I think Aaron Paul is going to be perfect in this role.

Just saw the SDCC trailer. Man, looks good. Glad it is in 2020 because I'm in no state to start dissecting a new season.

I'm particularly intrigued by the detail that Lee Sizemore is still in the cast. I really came to love this character, but he's human and he sure as hell seemed to go down in a blaze of glory (aka many many many real bullets) to allow Maeve and Hector to escape.


btw I wound up doing an impromptu rewatch of most of the material earlier this week, and one thing that seems a potentially key detail only just newly hit me. So obviously the whole thing is now some of our hosts got into the real world, Dolores plans on delivering a fuckton of last rights, and the collection that was in the Forge in s2 finale of all that guest microscopic detail of how these humans think is supposed to give her a huge leg up.
Except... that was only humans that were customers at the park. A park that pretty much only the obscenely wealthy it would seem would be able to dabble. All of that info that was there for Dolores' taking, it only represented a very tiny fraction of the human race. Sure, there's plenty of things that basically any human could be counted on to do no matter the size of their bank account, but just, there's likely just as much that wouldn't possibly be relevant to most of the other people out there in the world. So I just realized, Dolo shouldn't have quite the upper hand that I'd initially assumed she would.

Looks awesome. Need to rewatch the last couple episodes of season 2 before the new season starts. Luckily, there will most likely be a marathon on one of the HBO channels a week before the new season.
