NOTES:
----------
* = Dave solo
^ = Dave & Carter only
This show was nearly impossible to find and has not been circulated until now.
The date has been subject to much confusion over the years. The venue has
been listed both as the Floodzone, and also the Roxy from Charlotte, NC.
It has also been listed as Dave solo show. While Dave does play a few tunes
himself before the main set, it is indeed a full band show.
Further evidence for the correct date and venue include Dave mentioning the
album coming out "next week". He talks about the record release at Plan Nine
Records in Charlottesville, then the Trax release party (11/09) and then how
they will be back "here" for the next date (The 11/10/93 Floodzone release party).
Plus the date and venue has been confirmed by the taper.
This show has one of only four known full performances of Heathcliff's Haiku Warriors.
The other dates are (03/23, 07/06, and 11/09/93). The taper had this listed as
"Mystery song" but it's clearly Heathcliff's.
There is some static in numerous spots during the second half of Nancies.
The last minute of LIOG also has some static, along with 3 spots of static at
the end of Lover Lay Down.
The very begining of Minarets is cut off.
Before starting PFWYG, Dave mentions that the rest of the band will be right
back after he and Carter play a song. The recording ends just after PFWYG is finished.
The rest of the show is missing and the setlist is unknown.
These rare older shows have been collected and converted through a collaborative
effort to get them into circulation. Sometimes these shows do not have the best
sound quality (and maybe that's why they aren't circulated much to begin with),
but people should have access to them.
Thanks to Rob Holt for taping and donating the wav files used for the conversion.
Credit is also due to Rob for recording the 02/26/94 Bayou show. This was circulated
as part of this conversion project earlier before we knew Rob also taped that show.
