I'm curious...

Did you see the Band live with just Dave, Carter, Fonz, Roi & Boyd?

Did you see the OG lineup w/a "guest" (Butch, Rashawn)...

Ultimately, I'm really just kind of curious to know how many of y'all saw Roi

. But it's all relative.

Odd.. I was just talking about this yesterday with another member. My first show was 2001 and so technically Butch was already with the band, however, 3 songs he sat out on (OSW/41/Tender) and so I did get the chance to see just the core 5 play together.

Saw the original five, saw one show with a guest, and have seen a whole mess of shows post Roi...most also post-Boyd.

My first show was the core five and then the Flecktones guesting on and off. (5/20/98)
Also my 3rd show (7/9/99) was just the core five.

10/15/96...didn't see another full band show until 2009 like a dope.

First five shows were the original band, four of them at SPAC.

Have to admit that I didn't get that they were doing different sets every night. I loved jam bands and related artists, but I wasn't aware of how they operated. All the concerts I seen prior and many after were of the same practiced set from show to show, making it generally pointless to see a band more than once a tour.

Yes...kinda, My first concert was on 6-24-2001. Butch and the lovely ladies played on most songs but the original 5 played the following...

Nope, started in '05, I regret not seeing them '98 - '04 much more than I do not seeing the original 5

5/12/01 with no guests period

Saw the core 5 many times and it was amazing.
Add in Tim aka 12/98 and it was also amazing
Add in Bela and also amazing

Jump to Butch, still good but not as amazing
Add the ladies and some songs were good, others not so much
Add Ross and it started to go downhill fast

First show was in 2006. Saw the Core 5 six times.

Once in 2006: Core 5 with Rashawn and Butch
Twice in 2007: Core 5 with Rashawn and Butch
Thrice in June 2008: Core 5 with Rashawn and Tim

Became a fan in 2007, but I didn't get to my first show until 2009. It haunts me that if I had gotten into the band just a year earlier I may have gotten to see him. I got to be a fan of his while he was alive, which I'm grateful for.

First show was 8.7.08. LeRoi was still alive, and Dave talked about how he'd be back with them again soon.

I think I've seen two full shows with just the core 5. Butch was around then, but he wasn't at these couple shows for whatever reason.
5/11 and 5/12 in 2001. By my next show in July of 2001, Butch was back on-stage.

Closest I got to just the core 5 was my second show on 08/23/2000. Butch was there. Ladies had departed the tour by then.

Yes, most of the shows I attended were between 1997 and 2000.
