Re: ***Labor Day Weekend at the Gorge 2020***

FYI....Just booked a minivan through FoxRentACar at SeaTac for $250 Thurs-Mon. That’s 1/2 of what I’ve paid in years past.

    And $350 Oklahoma tickets
Kind of my thinking. When I went in 2018 I completely lucked out and snagged premier instantly on the public sale but I remember seeing others struggle throughout the year to secure one.

If you don’t happen to secure Premier through the WH/Public on sale, will Standard camping sell out, as well? Or would you recommend waiting for a Premier spot to maybe pop up and get Standard closer to Labor Day?

you couldn't give away premier passes last year (exaggerating).

but they were literally selling upgrades at the gate on thursday. Premier didn't come close to filling up.

i agree, i think attendance will be up this year, but I also wouldn't be worried in the least about a premier pass.

Yeah, even if you don't drink wine the vibe is very nice. Big grassy courtyard with shade and they had live music on their mini stage all three days last year. So, we just laid in the grass listening to music. My buddy is not a wine guy either and he just brought in a couple beers and no one gave him any trouble.

I absolutely love Cave B and I'm not a big wine drinker myself, can't recommend it to first timers enough. It was also a lot of fun to play to everybody since everyone there is big into music.

I've always heard a lot good things about Cave B. Do you need tickets or reservations to get in there? I'm not a wine guy but my girlfriend would love it I'm sure.

Nothing needed in advance you just go and everyone is super friendly, a common theme you'll notice all weekend

Seems like quite the hike from premier, right? By N3 in 2018 I could barely make the walk from premier to the venue

Not everyone plays the ticket game and stalks the boards though. Or wants to wait until the final weeks to secure camping.

If you are diligent and frequent on social media, premier is easy to come by.

    Hello, you Gorgeous folks!

Warehouse site seems to have burned down round to the ground but we'll get those requests in soon... Also, still waiting to hear from the Oasis folks, but not seeing it up for sale on their site yet, either...

This time 'round feels like a blast from the past warming up for a long, guest-filled weekend... Can't just leave all those troubles and worries behind? Instead - leave that load on the side of the road!

Anyone doing the Vancouver show too and considering renting their Gorge vehicle from there, Budget downtown Vancouver has SUVs for 6 days for 263.99 CAD (so $201 USD). Refundable.

The entire resort itself is blocked out for the band during Labor Day, and I assume during other weekends there are concerts.

The Cave B we are referring to is the adjoining winery and tasting room. That is open to the public.

When does general Oasis go on sale? I'm still torn between camping and a hotel. Does anyone know where to look for AirBnb's in the area?

Just camp. You won’t regret it.

No idea on oasis, those are sold through LN directly, LN premium. I believe returning guests get first dibs but not sure.

I looked at air bnb earlier for fun and didn’t see anything. Most people booked way before dates were announced.

Thanks for the tips. It would most likely just be me, no girlfriend this year. Could you recommend a campground where I could just relax and not get too carried away partying?

You can’t beat any of the venue campgrounds.

Premier is great. Lots of ants

Chill vibe with a side of partying.

I imagine terrace is quieter and much more expensive.

Standard is known for the party scene but I think it’s more mellow nowadays

Not sure about gold, super convenient to the venue and a more chill vibe as well.

Can confirm terrace is both quieter and more expensive. People were super awesome and very welcoming to the newbies.

Thanks for the tip, Becky! We got a killer deal!

I've never seen prices this cheap this early. Usually it's August 25 and I'm cancelling and rebooking daily as the deals pop up!

This time 'round feels like a blast from the past warming up for a long, guest-filled weekend... Can't just leave all those troubles and worries behind? Instead - leave that load on the side of the road!
When you hear from them, can you let me know pricing?

    Thanks! <3
