The 2016 Columbus show SUUUUUCKED! The energy and the crowd were awful, as was that setlist. Easily my least favorite show… a real dud.

The 2018 Columbus show was one of the better shows I’ve seen them do.

This show could go either way! The fact that they’ll be playing to a half full arena might dampen their mood.

Click "Seats" on the left side. You can see Section and Row there. You won't know seat numbers until your tickets are in hand.

My friend called Nationwide Arena yesterday and was told as of now, there is no vaccine or negative test requirement and based on the date we are at now, they do not think there will be a requirement.

I spoke to Nationwide last week and after getting the rep talking a bit it sounded like they were still “negotiating” with the band but made it sound like it was going to happen. I’d definitely prefer them checking for an indoor show in Ohio anyway.

Masks will be required though pretty much at all times. "Unless actively eating or drinking"

I live in Columbus and I'm a STH for the Blue Jackets, those are the rules for those games.

Thanks, although I am wholly anti-Buckeye...the arena district seems nice. Where do you sit for hockey?

Just got a note back from Warehouse. They WILL be requiring proof of vax or negative COVID test at the Arena. They said to check the venue website on day of event. The member ticketing news page on Warehouse reiterates this for all the fall shows. That’s good.

Thanks for the info. My forums for WH are acting up at work so I haven't been logging in. I shouldn't have read back...but hopefully Dave comes out firing afer 23 days rather than a warm up for michigan :x

Did people assume there just wasn't going to be a requirement? DMB cancelled two shows that wouldn't enforce that policy.

Moreso that it's just the only show that doesn't have anything listed yet. Just seemed to be taking a while. Hopefully when it comes out the attendance doesn't drop anymore.

Never sat sidestage. I'm looking for a ticket and was wondering how they would be. Anyone know if speakers or equipment are in the way?

Sat sidestage in Columbus 2018, and loved it! Even though you can't get the full visual of the screens sometimes, you get to see a lot of the behind the scenes type stuff that you don't normally see. I was pretty close to the stage, and it was like watching them play in my living room. Would definitely recommend doing at least once. I'm doing it again this time, as they are the best bang for your buck in an arena.

Any setlist guesses? I am 0-27 on Spoon, Last Stop which are unlikely but also What You Are and Christmas song. Jane with a Christmas song/Halloween encore would be epic due to the time period but also unrealistic.

Probably not gonna happen, but it would be really nice to finally catch Hello Again at this show.

I'm 0-58 on it. On tours its been played that I've been to, I'm 0-14

I just hope they take a look at the Starlake/Blossom/Riverbend sets and mix it up a bit. Would be nice to see some new tour debuts or just something different, coming off the break, but i am bracing for a fairly standard set. Based what has been played on the tour, I'd like to see Ocean and the Butterfly (only new song I haven't seen yet), Time of the Season or the Stones covers, and I have been chasing Lover Lay Down and Spoon, but I'm not holding my breath on those ones.

I think bracing for the standard set is the smart thing to do. Hopefully w my excellent view, that will make even the standard set exciting, but Ive never really been disappointed like some on here.

Time of the Season would be cool, never caught that one before. I'd also take a What You Are. I haven't seen that one in 11 years.

Going to the Grand Rapids show the next day, hope these work as a nice back to back.

Yeah, I'm not too picky, I've been to so many that repeats are inevitable, I enjoy seeing something I haven't heard in years just as much as something I've never heard. The only thing that could keep things interesting is if they are doing the Friday Night SiruisXM Broadcast, they may mix it up for the radio audience.

I braced myself for a standard, phoned in setlist at the last Columbus show in 2018. Then I got Kill the King, Break Free, a random Aerosmith cover, and a lot of other cool stuff!!

For real, Columbus 2018 is one of my favorite shows I've ever seen. Start to finish I had no idea what was next or where it was going. Caught Kill the King which I chalked up to never ever going to see it at a show and my first Sleep To Dream Her. Prepared myself for a safe, generic show and it wound up the total opposite.

That show is probably a big reason why I'm headed back to Columbus for this one. Though that show has no merit on what next Friday is going to be, might as well test the waters a second time.

Funny the way it is...I have 3 Halloween and 2 Captian in 27 but also no Spoon. 4/27 on Jane which is my favorite song.
