heck yeah! I read that it's good to re-watch S1 before, or at least watch the final two episodes so I may knock that out before starting S2. Can't wait.

I had such a love/hate relationship with S1. But it's damn intriguiging thats for sure.

Don't have time for a rewatch. I will just dive in to S2.

I couldn’t finish it, the direction was all over the place. Was interested though but quickly lost interest.

Y’all are probably right but I found Humboldt County and how they were living so off the grid interesting so I stuck with it.

New show, Ricky G - After Life. 4 episodes in and I think we’ll keep watching.

Anyone watched these Love Death & Robots shorts yet? I've heard good things. A bunch of 20 minute unique stories that are supposed to be really good.

    David Fincher.

    Might watch a couple tonight.

They are excellent! Some of the visuals blur the line between animation and reality. Some of them honestly feel a lot longer than 15-20 minutes because of how much story/emotion they cram in. The one with Topher Grace is hilariously awesome.

Finished season 1 of After Life.

Best season 1 of a show in a long time. Maybe it’s where I am in life. Loved it and my fiancé cried every episode lol.

I'm about halfway through them. I've really enjoyed them, great story telling and visually very impressive. And yes Fincher is involved with the project as well as the guy who directed the first Deadpool. Also note on IMDb a few weeks ago one of the animators from Into the Spider-verse is involved as well (which is a visual orgasm if you haven't seen it)

Watched Cocaine Island last night. Crazy story! I’m glad they didn’t try and stretch it into a 8-10 part series but I also wish it had been a little more in depth in certain aspects. Still, it was a good way to fill 90 minutes.

Also joining in the praise for After Life. I’m not sure why it hit me like it did but it was really well done.

After Life was excellent. Always been a big Gervais fan but not sure that’s even necessary to enjoy the show.

Couldn’t get past ep 3. It wasn’t even funny.

Nothing but him continually being miserable in an unrealistic fashion, story seemed to go nowhere too. Maybe it got better but that was badly written from what I saw. I’m a gervais fan too, but that was the epitome of why I understand how people hate him.

Interesting. I actually found it pretty refreshing. The life of the show portrayed a transformation from down in the dumps cynical Ricky to hopeful and happy Ricky. I interpreted parts of it as him ripping on himself for being such a miserable prick.

It just couldnt keep my interest at all, it felt over the top negative in a way that just didnt resonate whatsoever, like he was trying way too hard when he wrote it, idk. It was just a cycle of him being a prick, him watching the videos of his wife then him trying to kill himself again. I dont need to see that same thing in 3 consecutive eps to start a show. The only character I liked was that taller dopey guy he works with.

Since when has Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile been a Netflix exclusive movie? Wasn't this supposed to be a theatrical release at one point?

    Per Deadline and IndieWire:
The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 26, 2019. Shortly after, Netflix acquired the domestic distribution rights to the film for $9 million. It is scheduled to be released on May 3, 2019.

Been watching Season 3 of Santa Clarita Diet.

Still not amazing, but something to watch, and Timothy Olyphant is just so great.
