Re: New York Yankees

That was awesome to see

The fans who just missed catching the ball will be replaying that in their heads for a loooong time (“what if i reached *just* a little farther?”)

I hope Judge goes on a HR tear now

Man whatever people's feelings are on the HR record, seeing somebody hit 61 is just still so freaking special. What an accomplishment from Judge. Guy turned down a big contract and then goes and does THAT. Straight up legendary.

In addition to Cole tying the single season NYY strikeout record and Judge tying the single season AL HR record, the Somerset Patriots pitched a no hitter in the playoffs and Jasson Dominguez hit 2 homers. And the Mets walked it off. Great night for NY sports.

The walkoff is cool and good, but he should've been on first base. And even in the moment the MY HOUSE shit was dumb.

Hope so, I took Tuesday off to watch two. (I mean, other reasons too, my life doesn't completely revolve around baseball, but I'd be lying if I weren't excited I get to watch a doubleheader at the end of the season)

Don’t knock it unless you’ve been there. Stadium is legit. And it has a separate 200,000 sq ft complex full of restaurants/bars/breweries etc.

Hey I'm only talking about the exterior, lol.

Sevy is pitching slightly above average.

The plan was for him to throw 80-85 pitches, but Boone is the type of person I can see allowing him to continue.

Although Scherzer was pulled after 6 innings a couple weeks ago.

that’s fair. My Weber lid looks better than the outside of stadium. But inside is impressive.

    Stanton with a monster homer.

“That’s about as fast as you can see a ball go 457’!” Is one of the funniest lines I’ve heard all year. Maybe I’m just overly tired but its such a laughable feat that he does on the regular. Has me in stitches.
