Re: Rage Against The Machine

The countdown looks like it ends around the time of the California primary - it may have something to do with that. Maybe an anti-Trump concert

I suppose if they do an anti-Trump concert they should consider changing their name to Rage For The Machine.

They are worth seeing. Easily a top 10 show for me.

I wonder if it's them and Public Enemy.

I really hope it's new album and tour. Doubtful but would love to see them. Had a buddy see them at Lolla back in 2008 (?) and said it was one of the most incredible things he'd ever seen.

On my "Music BucketList" of live acts to see in person Rage Against the Machine has been #1 for quite some time now... I really hope this is leading towards a nationwide tour. PERFECT TIME FOR RATM TO COME BACK!! RAGE16!

I agree, I think Bernie's message lines up more with what Rage stands for/stood for.

RATM going on tour or making a new album would be the only good thing about Trump getting this far.

Rage at Lollapalooza 2008 was the second closest I came to dying - and worth every minute

I still feel like Alpine > Lolla when it came to my RATM experiences.

I love the idea of this...but if it's true, it's not Rage.

'Twas indeed the tits. Except for Wu going on 2 hours late (after rage). My buddy worked for live nation a few years later and they were on their bus driving back to NYC when they were supposed to be on stage. The promoter pulled them over and somehow got them to turn around and head back. Surprised there was no riot.

I saw Wu Tang open for Rage. Wu Tang was awful and then did actually riot after the show. http://www.mtv.com/news/1429513/wu-t...t-allegations/

I think that's how my night was supposed to go, but with Wu on the road, Rage took the stage. That tour was a disaster. I think Ghostface was a no-show for one of the dates, too. Maybe Florida. Those were the days of MTV Buzz Clips! I bring that up because of your link. I doubt they've covered a concert for 10 years now.

I could've seen Rage years ago when they played Alpine. Instead I popped for the next day when DMB was in town and played a shit set. Regretted it ever since.
