Got him into speech therapy twice a month and he doesn’t stop talking now and you can see he isn’t frustrated anymore. The biting stemmed from being frustrated not being able to communicate.

2.5, started around 2. I'm glad there is confidentiality, because he's so young but we know some parents would be less understanding than others if their kid gets bit at daycare.
His general chewing we have slowed. He used to chew on his clothes, his stuffed animals, anything. We bought him toddler chew toys and in general he's gotten better.
Agree that's its always in moments of frustration. He can talk pretty well, but when he goes into these frustration Modes, he loses his voice and it is all emotions and acting out. Easier to handle with two parents both working to get him out of it and to relax and use his words.
Harder for teachers where it is 2 teachers for 8 kids. But they are working VERY hard and are cutting us a lot of breaks and leeway. In a more strict daycare, I think our poor little guy would have been kicked out.
