    Yeah, it's a free concert put on in conjunction with Major League Baseball to celebrate Tuesday's All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium.

    you cant just show up at cp and expect to get in. they gave out tickets to the show(for free at yankee and shea)...no ticket, cant get it. pretty dumb yes

    good luck. from what i heard on the radio, people were in line yesterday at 6am, there are about 65,000 tix and they plan on stopping entry at 50,000. i guess at CP you could hear it pretty well from the outside area though.

    I'm from MA. And a Sox fan. And live in NYC. And would love if DMB played Yankee Stadium. We're not ALL obnoxious Massholes you know...

    As for Bon Jovi, I considered going if only to relive the DMB Central Park concert experience. But I just can't do it. The thought of tens of thousands of mildly intoxicated Jersey and Manhattan bar girls screaming off key all night...

    ...ugh. there are many bands I'm not a fan of that I could tolerate seeing a free live show by in a beautiful outdoor setting. Bon Jovi is not one of them.

    I would hate to see a concert, even DMB, at Yankee Stadium. I heard they want to have a Rangers game there in the winter before they tear it down. A Yankee game should be the last thing played there. No hockey, no concert, baseball.

    Would I go if there was a concert though? Probably, as long as its normal ticket prices.
