Ants Podcast - Episode 2

this might be a really stupid question...I'm not up on the whole ipod thing really. I know, hard to believe. I have a shuffle I use sometimes.

Anyway, are there videos attached to these or just audio, I can hear them in itunes but can't see anything...just wondering.

Kind of a n00b technology question I'm sure

Just audio. If there was video it would be a VidCast duh.



Actually, i think thats what a video one is called. Im not that into the whole cast thing yet either.

Topic Recomendation -

It might be interseting to here about the history of Antsmarching.org itself. It is a great community and 5-10 minutes discussing the early days and suceesful development would be nice.

Great work, a few weeks before I was on a DMB kick and looked for podcats about the band. I did not find anything and then this great podcast showed up.

we've talked about doing an ants history, and if we do one (big if), it'll just be on the boards. I have one written up already...

I could def. listen to an hour show... you guys did a great job. It's also really cool to see how excited you are to do it. Ants is continuing to move up in the DMB world, first RCMH, then the only podcast to coincide with our life on ants and the DMB community. Just another example of how DMB gives us much more than just music... its a passion thing.

My ideas: Popular thread of the week mention, a "one song a week" history lesson, maybe a "this day in DMB history" type thing, if its a historical day.

I don't think this week's will be an hour, but it will probably be more than 30 minutes...


as for music, there will be a surprise song played... we'll see how many people actually recognize it.

I just listened to the first podcasts. I enjoyed them both.

Hopefully more questions will be asked for the 3rd installment.

I think something interesting would be a breakdown of every album. Play a snippet of each song, what you think the song means, how often it gets played. Just do some stats on each album. And then unreleased / covers. That could be a few podcasts
