Before, but I stand by my statement. He's balling tonight so far (save getting bailed out on a phantom call for the fumble), but he was pretty terrible the two games prior to getting hurt. I think it mostly has to do with play calling and Cooper actually being able to hold on to the ball.

One good quarter doesn't make it a reliable option.

Great call then if it was before the game!

Re: Fantasy Football 2017: Talk, Advice, & Start 'em, Sit 'em

Two different leagues, both 1-pt ppr:

    League1:

    Aaron Jones v NO
    Blount v Washington

NO has allowed a total of 24 pts to running back the past 2 weeks (@MIA, DET) but over a 100 the three weeks prior. I also think Hundley will be checking down and/or dumping off to RB's a lot. Anyone have a good update on Montgomery?

Washington gives up more points to RBs overall more consistently.

    League 2:

    Mariota @ CLE
    Tyrod v TB

Leaning towards Mariota. He's had three full practices, but I'm not sure how his mobility is right now. Also, Browns, but TB is right after CLE in pts allowed to QBs.

Jones. He's going to get checkdowns and Smallwood is back which will take Blount off the field for passing downs/change of pace.

Mariota because he's good, playing Cleveland and he isn't on the Bills.

My flex is a mountain of questionable tags right now. PPR league, pick one:

    Smallwood vs. Washington
    Prosise @ NYG
    Martavis Bryant vs. Cindy
    Delanie Walker @ Cleveland

Walker vs Cleveland. He's been Mariota's 1st look all season and going against Cleveland.

Martavis is too inconsistent with touches and NY has the best D out of your options above. Smallwood maybe, but I'd go walker.

My worry with Walker is that he's hurt and they'll build up enough of a lead that he takes a seat. Also he's been shockingly dog shit since week 1 catching the ball.

Report just came out that Bryant is getting an increased role in the offense this week and won't come off the field. Damnit.

Didn't know about Smallwood. Thanks for the tip.

If you had Wentz as your starter, would you give up on luck coming back for the season? I was thinking Luck could be a great addition for the playoffs, but now I need spots to add K and D for bye weeks.

For the first time in my fantasy managing, not cutting my kicker when his byw is up. Ryan Succop scoring a ton.

I have the same blessing/curse with Jax D averaging 14.6 and K Zeurlein averaging 13.7 but both being on a bye this week.

yeah I would drop luck. He still seems a few weeks away at least and I dont see him coming in and tearing it up at all. By the time he would get in rhythm, the season will be over.

    Matt Ryan @ NYJ

    or

    Deshaun Watson @ Seattle

Watson is obviously my guy moving forward but this week is tough. On one hand, Seattle is still good enough to railroad a rookie QB, but on the other hand, Ryan is under performing and if Houston gets down big, Watson will be passing all day long.

I doubt anyone would take Luck. It's not a keeper league.
I actually traded Cam for Sanu today. It's definitely risky if Wentz gets injured but I need WR depth and he seems to be my best option.

I'm 5-2 and in first place, but I feel like I need to make some moves to win.

I've got 2 Top 10 QBs in Cousins and Rivers. RBs are strong with Shady, McCafferty, Kamara, and Darkwa, and Smallwood.

WR is a wreck because I drafted Odell in around 1 and then missed big time on Pryor and Decker. I'm starting Pryor and Landry this week.

TE is Reed who is super hit or miss.

I'm thinking I need to deal Couins for WR help and make myself less Redskins dependent. Thoughts?
