There were rumors floating around last week that Canelo and Andrade were in negotiations to fight at the end of the year, and those negotiations are why Canelo decided to pass on Derevyanchenko. At least those were the rumors...

Fury fight last night was a damn bloodbath. I was honestly expecting the ref to call the fight because those two cuts were pretty brutal and everyone had blood all over them. You have to give Wallin some credit for raking the cut after round 7 or 8 or something. It was kind of a veteran move. He was out boxes 90 percent of the fight though. Hopefully the cuts don’t push back the Wilder fight too much because I’m looking forward to Fury beating him, like last time, but actually get the decision.

Dazn really shit the bed last night being afraid to start Canelo-Kovalev until the UFC ended. Bunch of bullshit having to wait an extra 90 minutes for the fight to start. I also wonder if Canelo can be consistently competitive in the light heavyweight division.

i thought DAZN handled it well. I was planning on going to bed after UFC and watching Canelo/Kovalev in the morning but was able to seamlessly switch over. I guess i'd be mad if i watched boxing all night though

I don't see Canelo staying at LHW although i'd love a superfight with Beterbiev. Canelo and everyone else saw that Kovalev is a shell of his former self so i see this as a one and done for Canelo
