as part of the news I saw recently that Ray Liotta will finally be one of the biggest Goodfellas holdovers to come over and play in the Sopranos universe by having a role in this (I forget which character), there apparently was a possibility he was going to play the guy that Joey Pants wound up playing in the original series. (Ralphie?) Maybe it was a scheduling thing that kept him, I'm not sure.

Ray Liotta would be so badass! Though I bet he won't be smoking at all in a scene.

How would Ray Liotta play Ralphie 50+ years ago when Ray Liotta is older than Ralphie’s character was 15 years ago? The timing doesn’t work at all.

I think he was saying Liotta was originally supposed to play Ralph on Sopranos but scheduling didn’t work so it went to Joe Pants. It was worded weird, I had to reread it a few times myself.

oh shit yea, I structured that one sentence pretty much the complete opposite the way that I should've. my bad.

to think we could've seen Tony beating the hell out of Ray Liotta with a frying pan instead god was Ralph such a hateful little douche, I couldn't wait for him to die
