Yeah, we'll still be masking as our youngest will be 11 in early July, but he's a small and young 11. So, we're waiting for the vaccine to be available for the under 12 crowd before we're completely comfortable going unmasked. Last thing we want is some variant getting our youngest sick.

We're very looking forward to live music and baseball again, but we're also good with waiting as long as it takes for things to be safe. Hoping that the MPP and SPAC shows aren't delayed any further. Haven't been to Camden in ages, would love to see the Yanks @ O's again.

*REQUIRED* I understand for all dates on Dead & Company’s 2021 Tour, proof of COVID-19 Vaccination will be required by the Event Organizer to gain entry to the GA Pit. Please keep this in mind before purchasing GA Pit tickets. If a GA Pit ticketholder does not have documentation, they will be provided an alternate viewing location. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Eric Church kickstarted it the week before. It was very surprising to see him say he's playing full venues starting in September. Then, other bands started slowly announcing. A few more country ones and then DMB. Now the floodgates have opened and all of these artists who have holds at the venues are starting to announce.

This seems really unnecessary at this point, especially following the CDC announcement yesterday. If those shows were in March and April 2021, sure. But not late summer/fall 2021.

Yes, I think all of his personal headline shows are indoors. That was quite surprising to me. July looks like the month the big summer tours will start up. Exciting times ahead.

I'm guessing it has more to do with the proximity to the band than each other.

Didn't Chris Stapleton kinda lead the pack? I remember he confirmed his summer dates (much to everyone's surprise) then added several dates in summer and into the winter.

He may have, but I will remember EC as kicking it off. Probably because he announced a brand new tour, not a 2020 retread. I'm pretty excited, planning on 3 DMB shows, EC, D&C, and Jason Isbell at the Ryman (if/when he announces it) for this fall.

I remember James Taylor was one of the first as well to reschedule his tour, starting 7/29 in Chicago. I thought "what the fuck are these guys on? JULY!!??" I had absolutely zero faith that things would go the way they have in the US in the past month or two, but I am happy to admit I was wrong!!

3 weeks ago people were still second-guessing IF the announced tour would actually happen. Now states are dropping all restrictions and masks mandates. By the time the tour starts life will be normal again.

I've been pro-mask, pro-mandates, etc. ... but it is time for normal life everywhere. If you want to get the vaccine it is available and those who get it (I have) can feel even better in groups. People are still going to get it (it is not going away), and a few will die, but people die from the flu too.

It's been a long 14 months, but we are at the light at the end of the tunnel, and it feels fantastic.
