New Album Coming in One Week!

I had an issue today on chrome at my work getting into the site. But if i went to the warehouse site, then store then clicked the link to the main site, i got on there no problem that route.

After listening to Bruce and Nolan’s podcast with Sam Erickson, I have to think they really want to get this album out this fall. BTCS’s 25th anniversary is in the Spring, so if they can’t get it together this fall, it may be another long wait through next summer. I doubt they would they to be eating into their own sales in the spring.

I don't think they know where the masters are for BTCS doubt we will get a 25th anny reissue.

In one of Norlander's Busted Stuff podcast episodes he hinted that they were indeed missing but have since been found. He certainly seemed to know about something happening behind the scenes re: the BTCS 25th anniversary, so we might just see something after all.

There is absolutely no date confirmed and no details as far as what’s going to be included, but I do know that after “something” happened with the 20th, the 25th is being worked on and is planned.

well that's promising news I would rather have a BTCS re release than a New Album if I had to choose between the 2. Was extremely bummed with the 20th came and went without anything after rollouts for R2T, UTTAD, and Crash.

100% agree with this sentiment. Would love a new album, but would rather have a Vinyl reissue of BTCS.

I'd rather have new music or unreleased studio recordings of unknown tunes AND songs we know. For the latter I'd love to hear original recordings, as in whichever iteration of the band recorded them initially.

BTCS streets is an amazing album and I'd love the bonus material, but I prefer to hear new and unreleased music over songs that are so ingrained in my brain that I could practically listen to the whole thing in my head right now. Yes, of course I'm buying a vinyl of the BTCS 25th Anni release, but I'm more interested in hearing the rest of the pandemic sessions and anything we didn't know of from before AND since Dave did the writing for those sessions.

Same. When he made it basically crystal clear that Rodrigo is working on a BTCS documentary/memoire film and that includes Machead I thought people would be going crazy. But, it was barely noticed or discussed.

It was crystal clear that Rodrigo wasn't mentioned at all lol. Love Rodrigo but he isn't making a 25th anniversary doc on BTCS.

The thing about post Big Whiskey DMB is a lot of the studio tracks are hit or miss. I run a lot to studio DMB tracks. Come Tomorrow has a few solid studio tracks I run on: Virginia in the Rain, Again and Again, Idea of You, and Black and Bluebird. The rest I hardly listen to while running or walking or just chillen in the crib.

Whereas a BTCS Vinyl and just 3 bonus tracks for digital FLAC/MP3 BTCS re-release would have me much more engaged and I already frequently have BTCS songs in my jogs outside of Stay.

I wish nothing but the best for this new album but the reality is we will most likely have half of it be solid and half of it be songs with limited to no replay value.

Just like a new album… I’ll believe BTCS25 when I see it. This band loves to get stuff nearly complete then just shelve it.
