This is right up there with The Empire Strikes Back as my favorite all-time film.

Seriously though: Everybody watch it. Imma piggyback on JRS (don't get jealous, Matt) and bring some hockey back into the thread right here.

We all remember Footie as the destroy-you-with-a-check-then-give-you-two-extra-punches-while-you're-down player that he was, but check out:
- His instincts. His ability to get in a lane and absolutely neutralize a play by just being there.
- On a related note, how good he was with his stick. He didn't just hit, this guy got his stick in the lane (or in someone's abdomen ) just as good as anyone. Also, one of my favorite moments is when he skates down Palffy poke checks him... WITH HIS SKATE. Boom.
- How FAST he was for a physical player. That guy had jets and could chase down just about anyone.
- That final shift tho...

I thought I'd have a nice backread this morning and inatead I get see all this space raven crap. WTF. Don't be ruining our hockey thread.

Anyways, I am sorry for your loss Greg (really, I am, though not the Rag$) but what a great night. My monthly poker game was last night and as always, we had the game of the night on. I was the only guy not rooting for the Rag$. Let's just say, between coming home 200 bucks richer along with a Rag$ loss, I slept like a baby. Though, getting to bed at 1, I will be tired today.

Stat of the day. Rag$ scored more goals in the 3rd period of Game 6 (5) than they did in all their home games (4) this series. Not a good stat.

I think the window is now closing on the Rag$. Lundy will be 34 next year and they have some cap issues. Of course, with their money and resources, they can still be a factor.

Now my summer can begin.
