I keep being excited every time we pull even/ahead of China in the gold medal count and then look at the next day's schedule and am like "well shit, there's another diving/shooting event!"

China is most likely going to beat us on golds because of the amount of shit that's left that caters to their talents. We still have both basketballs, women's soccer, the 4x100 relays, women's volleyball, and a few other running events that we could possibly stack up on golds, but it's not looking good.

What is going to kill us, somehow, is boxing. I think I saw at least 3 or 4 Chinese fighters in boxing finals.
