    The first time I ever listened to tLWS was one of the greatest moments of my life. It is incredible music. Sad, but incredible.

    about half the songs on tLWS are actually pretty up-beat. imo, the album isn't any more "sad" than BTCS, or Some Devil. People just know the context surrounding the album, and it's fuel to the fire.

    I would say tLWs is mostly sad/depressing.

    Digging a Ditch
    Captain
    Big Eyed Fish
    Bartender
    Grace
    Maybe Busted Stuff

    Whereas BTCS isn't so much "sad" as it is just dark. Dreaming Tree is the only one that can be seen as "sad" IMO.

    Just remember that "dark" and "sad" are 2 sides of the same coin. Crush and Spoon aren't exactly "dark" songs, either. But they aren't "happy." I like them all, btw, I just think people say that about tLWS for the wrong reasons, is all.

    I don't think that many people are "sad" with the resurgence of tLWS tunes. lol, maybe some of the BTCS fanatics are a little bitter, but that's a different story. Hopefully they bust out some BTCS songs during the tour, as well.
