Can someone explain how the Ten Club ticketing system works for presale?

I've been a PJ fan for a long time, have probably been to about 10 shows. About 3 months ago I decided I should get a membership so I get a better shot at good seats. I'm planning on going to the wrigley shows this year. Is there some kind of seniority system with the ten club presale? I'm not going into it thinking I'll for sure be sitting GA for both nights, but do I at least have a shot?

Its just a random lottery to actually get the tickets. Once tickets are won through the lottery members with the most seniority get the best seats. Obviously GA is GA so it wouldn't really matter. Just make sure you can actually attend all the shows you put in for. Because if you win you must pick the tickets up in person the day of the show, no exceptions.

Very simple process, fan club gets only the best seats, no sticking you with Lawn or shitty reserves, Fan Club gets the entire GA floor of arenas if you want that, eliminates most scalping...you know, the opposite of the Warehouse ticketing system

Yeah, ten club definitely does it right. I'm a fairly new member and my seats for wrigley last year were great. warehouse would have had me behind a pole.

what's your member# start with? example 104xxx. getting selected is a lottery, no seniority, but ticket location is based on seniority.

You definitely have a shot at GA. I'm not sure if you've requested tickets before, but there's usually a % listed of your chances. If you're only selecting one night, i suggest putting in for the show that has the best %

I have been wrong many times in my life, so this might yet again be another example, but isn't GA a lottery as well? I thought seniority only applied to actual assigned seats.

Pretty sure GA is a lottery. I joined in Jan 2016 and scored GA for the 2nd Wrigley show that year.

yeah it's a lottery as well. I believe the majority of GA is held for 10c

It all depends on what you're preference is though. If you have a higher member number and want to get as close as you can, i suggest putting in for GA. Reserved seats are usually pretty good, but if you're a higher member number you probably won't get the best reserved seats allocated to 10c.

I'm somewhere in the middle when it comes to member# and I don't really need GA so i'm putting in for reserved. I've been happy with my seats from 10c. The only shitty part if you have reserved you don't know where you're sitting until you pick up your tickets day of show

at a baseball stadium show I'd think it's pretty much GA or bust, isn't it?

how good can a reserved seat be in that situation?

agreed completely and that's a big reason I'd prefer not to go to a baseball stadium all-GA-field show if possible. but given no other options I'd rather have to stand in GA than sit a mile away from the stage

there's seats on the field at fenway so it's not GA. I was like 3 rows behind the last field section at n2.

If i'm not mistaken, "reserved" was the only request you could make for fenway. I'm not sure about the other field/stadium shows

I sat in GA for Billy Joel at CBP. Never again. Took like an hour to even start the process of getting out after the show since all the seats get to leave first.

Edit: well it wasn’t GA. There were seats on the field.

Not sure what the deal was. If I sat on the field again I’d watch the encore from the concourse though. Not taking that chance.

The seats are not a bad view anyways. I enjoy being elevated over the field. Give me a pair of seats on the aisle and I’m happy.

Yup. Seats all tied together with zip ties usually no room at all.

The one place I hated being at Fenway was as high up and far left of the band as possible, right up against that big split where there is no seating in right field, I was so far to the side the only person I could see was Dave and couldn't see any screens

I usually try to get field boxes. Right behind the dugout or along the baseline is usually decent.

PJ Fenway N2 was one of the best shows I've ever been to despite how uncomfortable I was. The view and the proximity of the seats was good, but it was really hot out, barely a breeze, and I was squashed between my brother (who's a bigger guy) and a couple other big dudes to my left. There's just enough room for you to fit in your seat, and outside of that you're going to be stomping on a few toes.

FWIW, I had reserved for both nights of Wrigley in '16. N1 I had the cheapest tickets, 500 level down the right field line. N2 I had the "best" reserved, Club about 10 rows behind the dugout. I enjoyed the 500 level seats WAY more. I was closer, elevated so I could see everything, and the sound was even better. The problem with the reserved seats at these baseball park shows is that they tier/price the seats as if you were attending a baseball game when for a concert it's entirely different. When I bought Foo Fighters tix earlier this year, I purposely bought the cheap 500 level seats very close to where I sat for PJ N1.
