i feel like the swearing and SJW really came in the 3rd season. First season had a great premise but was just solid. 2nd season was meh, 3rd season was terrible

If we're still talking about Designated Survivor, same for us. I remember enjoying it for a while then just getting annoyed with it trying to be to relevant to the day's issues. Never got to S3.

Orange is the New Black did that a lot too.

Right. That’s what we were talking about S3. But yeah, felt like they really didn’t know where to go after a great S1. Then they just completely tanked it when the got the Netflix bucks. It’s almost not even the same show

that said, the premise itself puts them in a corner. Once he becomes president and solves the capitol bombing, it almost has to become a political drama...they could go West Wing, they could go 24 but from the other perspective, or they could completely jump the shark and make it ridiculous.


I had an interesting perspective because I started watching it literally the day before the insurrection, so that was interesting


also, in 24 S6 now, and I could swear the no-name girl at CTU was Ricci until I looked it up, I was disappointed. Figured it was, ton of actor crossover between 24 and Designated Survivor. Did Sutherland really leave 24 for Survivor??

Never heard that but I'm not sure. 24 had pretty well run its course I think. He did the final limited event series in 2014 which was already some time after it felt like the show was wrapped. Designated Survivor was announced in 2015 and then there was 24 Legacy in 2017. I think that was intentionally meant as a sort of reboot with new characters, though Kiefer was an executive producer.

He also did that show Touch at the same time for a bit which I remember enjoying somewhat.

The return of Stabler was amazing. Allison crashed out five minutes into the spinoff, so I'll have to wait till Sunday to watch that, but I'm so stoked on it.

SVU I haven't really been too impressed with the past year, but I think its just because of COVID. I had no expectations for Organized Crime and have been pleasantly surprised by it.

My wife and I just finished series 1 of Money Heist - truly captivated. Really eager to see where it goes and how long the actual 'inside the bank' part of the story lasts.

Finished the Gacy doc on peacock.

Pretty underwhelmed.

I found the interviews with him interesting at first but he was a total liar so soon he just revolted me too much.

And I don’t think the documentary gave a full picture of how disgusting his crimes were which probably I didn’t like the most.

I think it glorified him a little bit. I recommend it for true crime fans but wonder what other people think.

funny, I had both of these queued up last night, but only got around to cruel summer because it was a 2 episode premiere. I enjoyed it, I'm a sucker for teen dramas. it's a little bit silly, but it's keeping my interest so far.
