Insert your CD and the itunes screen should change to show the contents of the CD. If you see a pop up asking you if you would like to import the CD, click no.

Highlight any tracks that you want to join. For example if you're ripping something with Nancies > Warehouse, highlight both of them by holding ctrl on windows/command on mac and clicking both tracks.

While the tracks are highlighted, click the settings button on the top right of the window and click join CD tracks.

Repeat this for any other tracks you want to join and then click import CD

I remember someone telling me once about some method in iTunes where you select the songs you want to always play together, like PNP==>Rapunzel, and iTunes links the tracks so they always play together....any of that sound familiar?

I think theres a way to make them play together like that, but I don't remember exactly how to do it. It's possible the feature isn't available anymore. I think I remember it just being a check box, but I just took a quick look and I don't see anything like that.

Everyone complained though because it was too repetetive. Too many 95/96 shows with similar sets... I would like them back as well. Maybe they could do a better job of mastering them though. I know they're mostly soundboard pulls, but a lot of the amateur tapes we have from the era sound better.

They could do earlier years for DMBLive and then LT focus on 1997 and beyond.

Not sure this would make sense as there are already quite a few pre-1997 Live Trax. I think DMBLive was mostly for shows that didn't have complete multi-track recordings (or something like that - maybe somebody else can clarify exactly what it was), so if theres a pre-1997 show with a good recording, I'd prefer for it to be a Live Trax.

Agree 1000 percent. Starting to wonder if the Sirius shows that are unreleased they keep giving us are impacting or are affecting the Live Trax announcement in any way.

These were the band notes after that show (07.05.2003)

We do love coming to this place and Dave definitely did not hold back in letting the audience know a few times during the show. We played Alpine Valley tonight for the first of two in this beautiful southern Wisconsin venue. If only you could see what the band sees from the stage! This venue holds over 40,000 fans, the majority of them being on the lawn. Its amazing how endless it seems looking out over the crowd and it is absolutely breathtaking! Thank you ALL for an incredible night. See you tomorrow!!!-

This is correct, and it's why you don't see many LTs from before 1996 (when they started using multi-track recording primarily)

DMBLive is one of my favorite things they've done, I'm big fan of the ealry-mid 90s era. I'd be so happy if it returned (and more vinyl please!)

I do enjoy reading the old show notes on almanac, pretty cool stuff. Seems like too much effort these days?

Do we know who wrote those notes? Honestly feels to me like that person probably just moved on from the job and so they stopped. They're still around sporadically. Or at least were a few years ago. Caravan actually seems the most memorable... that was a long time ago

But re: the sirius shows. Definitely feels easier waiting for a LT with those. I listen to them in similar ways that i listen to LTs. I'm wondering if they're just amassing a larger collection of soundboards before dropping their own app like phish. I would 100% pay for that
