Re: The NBA Thread
official scout, and they suit up again Thursday ah!!’
Wembanyama
Incredible shooting touch. That step back three miss where he was fouled was nasty. Dude will be shooting 15 threes/100 poss. He is a #1 prospect on shooting touch alone. Dho, pick and pop, faceup, mid post, fast break, whatever
Nice post play late in the 4th, doesn’t matter as he won’t get a ton of those looks in the NBA tbh. But a jump hook is always nice for a center no matter what, and he has one
Looks absolutely lost running the pnr as a roller. Needs more reps.
Completely soft on the boards, yikes.
Incredible second jump, and recovery in general across the lane. Will be an all time rim protector and help defender tbh
Awfully slow switching out to guards, but not horrible. Al Horford level at worst. Only about a step behind Scoot Henderson’s drive who is lightning quick, then got a nice block on his attack of the rim at the end of the game. A little late reading the timing when he’s on the weak side or caught in a switch away from the basket tbh

Henderson
Good natural shooting touch. Not a ton of range like Trae Young, rises up a bit slow, but it’s good enough. Impeccable Irving like handle- changes speeds, quick dribbles, can finish with both hands on either side of the basket. Extremely polished for his age.
Similar to Cade Cunningham in how he reads the game, but Rose/Wall like in his explosion to the rim. That control of speed is the most exciting part of his game, given that he is willing to make plays for his teammates. Found a couple of “easy” next pass away shooters which was nice, and had a good pocket pass on the pnr. Is a patient floor general, had control of the game and setting up his teammates communicatively.
Will still need patience tbh. Point guards take forever to develop no matter how good.
tldr: 0-82. shut Johnson and Poeltl down by Thanksgiving. Henderson is superstar talent, Wembanyama is generational talent
