You are changing the conversation but fine. I agree and no one said otherwise.

You said he was "best for their team". I just told you why he wasn't. They knew his upside was limited and wanted to see if their young guys would pan out. The fact that he won more games is irrelevant. They weren't going anywhere in a rebuilding year with him at QB.

His style would probably fit with Shanahan's offense in SF. Would be a great way to end his career too.

My thoughts exactly, he proved his point, nothing else to gain by playing another couple years.

FWIW Bills fans: I spoke to someone who was on the Texans coaching staff with Watt and the review wasn't glowing. "He's selfish, only cared about his stats", "he does a lot of things that hurts the defense", "he hurt us more than he helped us", and finally "I wouldn't want him"

Donít believe this as all, I believe someone on the Texans coaching staff said this.

Donít believe it about Watt though

Donít they want Bridgewater as a high value backup to Jimmy G?

That would make sense too, especially because he's younger. Play styles are very similar.

I didnít see anything from Teddy Bridgewater to get excited about.

I know heís been the sexy FA since he was a backup in NO.

    Pass for me

Thatís why he is a backup, he is probably the best backup in the league for a team like SF team where if they lose the starter they can fill him in and not miss beat

If he went to the Bills this guy wouldn't have tweeted it. Also don't think anyone should listen to what anyone involved in the Texans have to say anyway

Does Watt help improve Arizona overall? Yes. Does he help Arizona make it to the playoffs? No.

personally I think bringing in bridgewater to a team without a clear-cut long term starter (like, say, SF, which has been fighting off rumors that no one internally likes Jimmy G as their long term solution for over a year now) is an absolutely awful idea

The 2021 league year doesn't begin until 4 p.m. ET on March 17th. I agree that there are a lot of confused Ants, but they aren't the ones you think they are
