Re: Hold 'em poker

Did pretty well at the Saturdays friendly tourney...14 players, came in second place. Heads Opponent went all in, I called with 99 and he had AQ, Ace came out on the flop.

I was redeemed in the second Tourney though...my 66 cracked KKs to knock him out. Came in 3rd in the 2nd, 10 person tourney. Not a bad night!

I just love it when at the end of a tourney, you've had a long battle heads up. And then you finally corner the guy. You have KK, and the flop is 7 Q 3. He goes all in, you call. He has J 10. Yup, see ya buddy, time to see the money.

And then an 8 comes. And then a 9 comes. What a joke. He had a 4% chance. 4 fucking percent. So you're down. Next hand, you raise with A 7, he raises you all in with A 4. You call, and say "Good, I'm right back in it because he's dominated", and when the 7 comes on the flop you know it's over.

And then comes a 4. And then comes another 4. OMFG, OMFG he had...is this real? A 0.30% chance? For real? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME????

Just kill me now. Just shit all over my face.

i was down to the final 3 w/ a commanding lead the other day. then lost a hand, then went all in on the next one, busted me down to $200... the blinds put me all in w/ 77 and i won. ended up winning the next 3 hands and got right back to dead even in a 3 way race...

i ended up losing out about 10 hands later, but thought it was a decent comeback from being almost completely out.

    i hate this game.

If anyone plays on bodog.com, you have to go to www.newbodog.com and download the new program. There is a legal dispute over the name bodog.com.

Why, oh why must Poker Stars reward donks for calling all ins with their ace rag flush draws when I have a set of Kings? Especially on the turn? Ugh..

Ive been doing pretty well in Bodogs Super Turbo Sit N Gos......blinds go up every 3 minutes. Top three pay out on a 10 person table.

I also watched Jamie Golds Main Event performance last night....man does he totally suck. He is only able to play when hes the big stack.....he lost 6k in the first hand!!! (start with 20k). And this was after he started blabbing his mouth again about him having an unbeatable hand and the other player should fold.

He didnt last long. He totally sucks. Hellmuth got knocked out quick as well. Hes freaking annoying too. Saying that he'll get KK and a amateur donkey will call with Ace Rag....

Jamie Gold does suck and Phil Hellmuth is one of the greatest Hold 'Em players ever to play. His rants do get a little old at times but usually they are right. He does seem to have this "the whole world is out to get me" mentality though.

They're broadcasting again today, and I'm really enjoying listening to this while at work. The feature table has Negreanu, Gus and Antonius. Daniel and Gus are hillarious.

why don't you email ps and ask them what you should do. The one time that I deposited money into my ps account I used western union. That way there was no link to my debit card. It cost extra to use western union but if you are good enough you won't have to deposit money again.

You can no longer use Western Union.

But you can definitely email them, it's just support@pokerstars.com or something like that. I've emailed them questions about the rake and stuff before, and they were always helpful.

I deposited money a few days ago using my Visa.

I think its that certain credit card companies have flagged the sites as "Hostile transactions", so the CC approval doesnt go through. If you have multiple cards, try them all.

Ive been having a bad run lately. Ive jumped back to the 8 dollar and 16 dollar sit n go tables on Bodog......top 5 pays out. 5th place you break even on the buy in (minus the house rake).
