In my city of 500,000 we have close to 100 "illegal" shops operating and have been for sometime. Official legalization won't change much, but we'll be able to order online in the spring, so that's kind of cool.

But if the point is that I'm trying to let the smoke start to build inside the pipe once I light up the actual weed for me to then inhale (letting my thumb go right before I do so), isn't that other hole on the side of the bowl redundant? because obviously while I'm holding the flame to the weed, the device is already 'sealed' because I've got my mouth over the hole on my end. and that when I'd see a decent amount of smoke build up, I pull my lips back, giving the smoke somewhere to go as I inhale it.
okay I hope I've described this right But am I right? that other hole doesn't really need to be there, yes?

Mass has a bunch of medical dispenceries. The law passed for recreational in July but still nothing open.

MA has a governor who is very against all substances, so they don't have the same support as some other states that have legalized. it's gonna be rough in MA. glad i moved to CO.

CO resident here.

i am a budtender, so i pay 10 bucks for an 1/8 at my shop no matter what the strain is but our customers only pay 20 or 25 an 1/8 for some house shelf flower. (The low price is a discount we give to those that are from Denver).

today we are running a deal where some strains are 85 an ounce.

basically, no dealer is going to be able to match that. we're doing well here

It’s has more to do with the individual cities not wanting them opened. The delay sucks but they’re expected to be up and running by end of year

good. better late than never. after taking longer than any other state did, by far, they better have some type of system up and running soon. people are going to be driving to Vermont to buy weed, and MA will be missing out on the tax.

you'd think republicans would like the $ it brings in, yeah. they're all of a sudden worried about schools and our youth even though legalization cuts back on underage use, and the shops don't need to be near schools...as shown in all legal states now fuck facts though i guess

I've literally sat in a room full of republicans at a conservative political action conference in DC Area smoking expensive cigars and sipping expensive whiskey, listening to people talk about the evils of weed and classifying it with drugs. I heard one guy talk vaguely about someone who went on a killing spree because weed makes people violent. Bless his heart, guarantee you he has never even seen it in real life. I wasn't smoking at the time, but I still had to speak up. Now this was like 2003, before the smart phone. I defied him to tell me more details, but he had none, and I said then, what I'll repeat now...no one has ever killed anyone else on weed - if they did, it's because of some other drug or a preexisting psychiatric issue. Yeah, weed can be dangerous in the wrong hands, but the ignorance and hypocrisy are astounding. If you drink alcohol, you have absolutely no moral footing to stand on to criticize smokers.
