Just listened to the whole song again, I felt I was too harsh above. The Trump cypher was shit, but this isn’t bad - it’s just not a fucking Banger. Like Ramiro said above, it’s real hot lyrically. Just short of fire, like a degree or two before flashpoint.

SNL performance was okay. New song was the worst, Stan was great to hear but I've just never liked Love The Way You Lie.

So many songs I would've rather hear. Meh.

I hated this song the first time I heard it, and the more and more I listen to it the more and more I like it. I honest think this is just a teaser- because he lets loose at the end of this song, and I think thats the way the album will go. Its a precursor of whats to come is my thoughts..... its self deprecating (collaborated with Skylar Grey) You have the writing in the background, pencil scribbling, paper being torn up, etc. Its a symbol of his new self I guess.

The writing on this one, yeah fucking amazing. It takes multiple listens as the music is abrasive to start but the lyrics on this, especially the second part of the song is strong as hell and it all melts together when you read the lyrics with the tone. He might be at his best yet, just on lyrical writing at least.

Its Eminem, subject matter is going to piss some off/turn some away. But isn't that what he does best?
