Special Request for my daughter - DMB West Palm Beach

Hey all,
A little back story, my wife and I have been fans of DMB and attended several DMB concerts in Florida, where we live, back 13 years ago before we had kids. Well our kids are now old enough and we were excited to share that experience with them this year and bought tickets for both nights of WPB in May. Well, that show got canceled and rescheduled for August.

That was no problem for us but just this week my 15 year old daughter's cancer, Rhabdomyosarcoma, relapsed and we started treatment right away but we are at the point where treatment can not cure her, just extend our time with her.

We are going to do everything in our power to be able to attend the show in August (we already have tickets) and make it the best memory for all of us. My ask is, in what ways can I make this the best experience for my daughter? Is there anyone I can reach out to within the DMB organization?

This is 100% for my daughter and if needed I can provide any information needed to validate our situation. Mods, if this is not the right forum for this I apologize.

I just want to make this the best that I can.

Many thanks.

Eric

    Dude.

I can't help, but best of luck reaching out, and all my love and support are with you and your family.

Thoughts and prayers for your family.
I don't know if it would work but try and contact the warehouse. They may be able to possibly upgrade seating to somewhere less intrusive of the crowds or maybe do a little something extra for your family. I would imagine if the band knew of this they may do some kind of meet and greet.

Go on social media and reach out to the band members who are active - Jeff, Stefan, Buddy & Rashawn.

Maybe also Raab--not sure if M&G are in the realm of possibility, but Raab might be able to grab a doodled setlist or something.

Don't forget Tim Reynolds on social media. He most likely won't connect directly with you, but some people in his crew might be able to reach out. No promises, but always worth a try.

Reach out to red light management. See if there's anything they can do. I'm sorry for what you're going through.

hi, OP, hope something happens. I'm sorry to hear about what your family is experiencing.

I'm reminded of an article i read years ago about dave showing up at a sick child's home after a show and he sat and played for the sick child and their family, as they couldn't get to the concert that evening (they had a meet and greet or something arranged). the article was quite a beautiful read. I hope someone with the band is able to make something happen for you and your family, whatever it may or could be.

I actually think of this story you are referencing often as it's one of my favorite things I've ever heard about Dave. OP I am with everyone else sending love and support your way.
