New episode out now! We've got out Tailgate Talk from the Raleigh lots and our rapid reactions right after the show. Had a great time at all of our shows this summer capped off with a strong showing in Raleigh and an epic encore. Enjoy!

Enjoyed the Raleigh episode last night! I too was chasing What You Are last weekend and got Bayou'd twice instead lol. That Raleigh set was super unpredictable throughout the whole show. Got multiple funny looks from casuals when I was jumping up and down for YNK & PFWYG.

Great ep fellas, the fan base could definitely use some of that optimism. Nolan I think put it best, sometimes you have to remember where you started with a song and enjoy the moment rather than wishing for a different one.

We are interviewing the great Sam Erickson tonight…for those who don’t know him, how dare you, but he has been an incredible photographer/videographer/producer etc for the band (and many other acts) since 94 and has projects such as D&T Radio City, Big Whiskey doc, BTCS doc, Listener Supported, DMB in Europe etc on his résumé.

We wanted to give you all the opportunity to toss out some questions you may want us to ask and we may include them in the interview.

    Cheers

This is awesome! Can't wait to listen. Huge fan of Erickson and am fortunate enough to have some of his work on my wall from the UTTAD album shoot.

My question for him would be...
He directed the Driven documentary on VH1 I believe. The VH1 Driven Doc is so so great. Is he working on any current documentary's on DMB perhaps as somewhat of a follow up to that?

    love it

We will definitely be asking that as it’s a question we already have on the docket, so hopefully we will all get a good answer!

Anything from the cutting room floor that is particularly interesting? And will anything that has been cut or not used ever see the light of day in the future?

Is he involved in anything for the band currently?

Re: The Corner of Grey Street Podcast

I'd be curious to see what the challenges of photographer / videographer / producer were in the Listener Supported era and how they compare to the modern challenges, also if there are any noticeable differences working with the DMB team vs other acts good or bad

What musical story/biography does he wish he could tell/produce but hadn’t gotten the chance yet?

He is an extremely interesting guy that was so nice and gracious. He has seen and done a lot and his rise in his professional career was so fast and so massive. Truly amazing.

Maybe we will get some more stuff from his archives one day…

Big shout out to Sam for talking with us last night. He's truly the man and y'all are going to love this episode. He has so many great stories from over the years and his many collabs with DMB. It'll be out next week in time for anyone traveling to WPB to listen to on the way!
