I'd absolutely agree with this. Starting in 2021, They were chomping at the bit to get back out as fast as possible after the pandemic. They couldn't wait to play. That's not a sign of a band that wants to slow down. Of course there are economic reasons at play there too, but that's always a factor in an A Level band.
I don't see this year as being a reflection of them slowing down. But unlike years past when they played an international tour, they'd still play almost the same amount of shows in the US. They more or less just stuck to the same amount of annual shows.
I think we'll see a full tour year next year, and then maybe the following year they'll do something different for a little break. I don't know what that would entail even. But maybe a caravan style thing. Or acoustic set. Maybe they'll add some featured guests that fill different roles for parts of the set.
I do think they'll announce a final big tour sometime in the next 5 years, but not be done done. But it will be a huge tour.
