In 2023 at Deer Creek, NONE of the FarmAid tickets were sellable or transferrable. If SPAC is the same, if you're buying for others you should be sure they can enter with you, or be willing to give them your logins so they can transfer a ticket to their own wallet. There were no exceptions to this, even for lawn tickets, and the restriction held even up to the day or the show. I had to go to the venue box office after the online tickets sold out and they warned that even the lawn tickets were non-transferrable.

This won't be the case at SPAC. New York state law requires that ticketholders be unencumbered from re-selling or transferring purchased tickets.

I dunno, my order confirmation seems to say that tickets are not transferable:

This wasn't even the case at Deer Creek. I think that whole thing lifts the week of or day before the show. We wound up with like 4 extra tickets from people who couldn't go and they transferred them to us and we transferred them to people we found that would take them.

I don't know what happened to you doogles, but I had zero issue transferring tickets to people. Perhaps I'm misremembering something, but I remember it sounding all super strict and then not being so when it got time for the show.

If so this would be a violation of New York law. They can put in a delay until a certain number of days before the show, but they can't restrict it completely. Even Pearl Jam hasn't been able to get away with this here - it's why TM turned off resale completely for the PJ MSG shows in September, but if I go into my 10 Club purchase in my TM account, it's fully transferable.

I dunno, maybe it'll be lifted closer to showtime. Or maybe they can make exceptions for charity events? No idea.

Not sure the fine details but it does say you can resell on the face value blah blah. (Wherever that is) so there clearly is a way to “transfer” them.
Their whole point t is not transferring them but scalpers so if push came to shove you could have a friend buy them on the face value site and get them from farm aid via their transfer method

I tried diligently up to the day of the show. On the way to the venue, I had to give someone I only knew from prior ticket trades my TM password so she could download the ticket. The transfer button in TM never activated, and when we tried to download to her wallet (before I gave her my password) it said the emails didn't match and wouldn't allow it.

It sounds like NYers are protected by more progressive state laws, which is great.

- Fall Tour will start after the HOF ceremony. Similar length in tour and in number of stops. MSG and Mohegan are locks. (cryfreedom_122)
- I haven’t been following here but I do have some fall tour “non-information”. Sounds like some fall tour scheduling is taking place. Nothing is officially set or approved. But it is being looked at. MSG would be in the mix, but that’s the only venue I’ve heard. Again I’m not saying “fall tour is happening but I do believe there is some hope for that (wontburnthepig)

Now you can pay top dollar to see the most expensive cover band in the country....I kid, I used to love ZBB, but the covers are a huge turn off for me to catch them live anymore. Couple that with Zac's diving into EDM and how bad The Owl was, I had to check out of ZBB for a while. I did like that last album and the newer tunes they've been dropping, but I feel like some of the magic is lost for good.

I agree but I think he realizes how much he screwed up going that direction.

I agree with the cover band thing. They're talented, but half their show is now covers and medleys of covers. It's more of a bar band than what you'd think for an A level act.

I think a lot of acts are feeling like the audience just wants that these days. Old music we can sing a lot to > than original new music. But to me it's cheap thrills.

It's a vicious cycle too. The band is not confident they can play 2 hours of original music and hold an audiences attention. They play a few covers and get a raucous applause. The audience comes to think ZBB plays great covers of their favorite songs and goes back to see them do more covers next year.

100%. ZBB will pave the way for bands that aren't known for stunning visual performance/effects.

I'm surprised a band like ZBB can pull 19,000 more than one night.

The key for a lot of artists if they want to do Sphere (or any residency) is going to be the "these are the ONLY tour dates for this year" route

Ya, I would agree. ZBB is going to have to put all their eggs in the Sphere basket next year, or do a small tour like 8 months away from it.

I think DMB would have a bigger draw and STILL be able to tour. But I don't think DMB could draw for a longer residency. Maybe they could do what the Eagle's are doing with 4 2 night stands, but the Eagles have way more draw than DMB.

DMB could do a month long residency (4 weekends) and play Friday Saturday or Friday to Sunday and sell out every show.

There would be a lot of demand because it's this venue.
