no, it gives how a specific example of parenting that isn't authoritarianism. from a psychology standpoint, authorintarian parenting is a pretty common thing.

no, and the article isn't making that claim. there are plenty of examples of people in here, who, when confronted with something they may disagree with, automatically try to shut it down and/or resort to name calling instead of actually engaging
