while In boston I went to trillium on a whim last week. Grabbed 4pk of mettle DIPA and a growler of Mosaic fort point pale ale. next day got really sick and went to the hospital for pneumonia. I'm finally off all antibiotics and steroids. Drinking that growler tonight. really hope it's still fresh!

In reality, after about 8-10 samples, the buzz starts to kick in and it is just drinking beer at that point. Regardless, have fun.

oh most def, this will be my 4th or 5th beerfest

very difficult but I have to do my best to moderate my intake

wife is working a 24 hour shift, leaves the house at 5 am tomorrow. toddlers and babies don't really accommodate hangovers

SoS just started to pop up here in NYC. Think a distributor was able to procure some cases and put it in shops. Not been able to get any as it goes pretty quick once the word is out that a shop has it.

probably closer to the end of the year when it's more available. I really like SoS, but it just recently became available in Mass. A couple placed I go to limit you to 1 4pk pp or even 1 can pp

when the hype dies down in Mass I'm sure it'll be easier to get. Next time I go to trillium i'll let you know though

There's a release next Tuesday I think.
I would go and send you some, but I'm heading to the Vermont Brewers Fest in Burlington VT this weekend with a lot of stops at the breweries in the area for a few days after.

I've never gotten the hype on SoS. It's good, but not something that measures up to any of the other beers in that area.

I'm going to be making my third trip to Barrel Theory last weekend. I went last weekend for the Berliner Weisse with mango, passion fruit and guava, as well as a new West Coast IPA. They've already tapped a new NEIPA and a Berliner Weisse with black raspberry, marionberry and boysenberry. It's awesome to finally have a new brewery killing right out of the gates like they are.

Id be lying if I said I wasnt a victim of beer hype but everyone in Dallas was going coo-coo over a Double IPA that got shipped in from Shreveport today. So since I had never had it (it= Grace and Grit from Great Raft Brewing), I figured I'd give it a try. It does no disappoint. Smooth like butter and the citra isn't overwhelming. Highly recommended.
