Ok I'll definitely do If It Bleeds first. I'll think about The Outsider. Standalone, is The Outsider good?

    The Outsider is very good; way better than Holly IMO.

    I assumed reading that one was a given.

    I was dissappointed in the The Outsider tv show. Put off reading the book for a while but I enjoyed the book much more. There is a short story in If It Bleeds that references the Outsider. If chronology matters to you.

    I read somewhere that King wanted the director of the miniseries to change the Holly character's name because the changes were so extreme. I haven't seen the show though.

    Holly felt shoehorned into The Outsider. I enjoyed the novella If it Bleeds more. In fact, it's my favourite Holly-related story.
