Sad to see it come true that there is no SPAC. My first show was at SPAC, amazing venue/setlists/energy. Festival in NYC is a fine substitute though...

Still no update on saratogaconcerts.com...I've already started making plans around SPAC, but I keep hope in the back of my mind.

You planning on ventruing into Hartford this year? If so we should chill before the show! I am also planning on hitting up Hershey. Looks like our plans for this summer's tour are similar (althought my g/f put the quash on Mansfield).

Edit: Is the 20 and 21 Camden?

From what I have read, yes. The tailgating apparently sucks and, unless you have good setas, the sound can really be bad, again, depending where your seats are. I haven't been there yet but I had my friend from work who is a fifth year WH member request the tickets for me. Based on what I have been told I can expect at least the first twenty rows from these, perhaps front ten which is a hell of a lot closer than I have ever gotten. I don't know, I always wanted to check out Hershey because they seem to put on some damn good shows there and I had a chance to get great seats so I decided to try for it. Jeff could answer this better I am sure-I think he went last year.

Here goes...

Bren - I'm very much so going to Hartford this year. I'm convinced since last years shows sucked, they will make up for it this year. I was supposed to bring my parents to a SPAC show this year, but since there isn't one, they'll probably go to Hartford. If they don't, we could definately meet up somewhere at the show. And yes, the 20 and the 21 are the Camden shows. I went last year, and I was very impressed with the shows and the venue. It's worth the trip.

John - I only went to Hershey last year, but I'll tell you what I can. First off, everything smells like chocolate! The venue really wasn't anything that special. I was somehow blessed with really close floor seats, so the sound was great, but if you are in the stands or on the wrestling mats in the back, sound could be a problem. However, the show they put on last year was positvely absurd. I'm convinced it's the best they did all year. Just looking at the setlists, they seem to put on some good looking shows at Hershey. I'll be going back this year for sure.

my mom talked me into letting her pay for my tickets to hershey as long as my brother got the other ticket. have seen more concerts with him then anyone else, so i pretended like it might be a problem and reluctantly said yes

will have to be my substitute spac

haha, yeah, i'm down there every other year for soccer tournaments. the smell is nice though

so basically you'll need good seats, maybe if i get lucky i'll head down. i don't feel like nose bleeding it for decent sound

If SPAC is at least trying to get their dates out and there was DMB dates...wouldn't the band have the ok to put the dates on the official site? This does not bode well...

hey guys remember all the people bitchin saying that when that guy put out a schedule that none of the bands had those dates out for spac....well sting, rush and yes blink 182 have all announced they will be at spac the days the guy said they would.

i dunno about that.... would you rather see the festival or a SPAC show happen?

personally i love SPAC and all but a festival is something weve all been waiting for...

the only reason i would see not to have the festival would be if they needed more time to plan it right so they postponed it for next year or the fall

i guess this is primarily for people in the SPAC region but others can but what they think too

from the looks of it, that schedule was what Spac was planning on showing this summer. I would bet that the DMB gig just fell through unfortunately.

I find it funny that the longest official thread (mayb gorge is longer not sure) is about a show that might not even happen. But i sure hope it does.
