Six Flags and Flash Pass

Hey everyone,

It's been a while since I've been to six flags, and after being at WDW a few times and barely waiting in line for any rides because of Genie+, the idea of flash pass definitely perks my interest.

I'm taking my oldest (7) for her first time, loves rides, but hates waiting in line like I do. Has anyone done flash pass before? Is it worth the insane amount of money? We're going to Great America in Chicago, so I'm sure it's different in other parks across the country.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I was just looking into this for Six Flags St. Louis. But I think that park is a ghost town and that a flash pass is 100% not needed.

They do have an app with wait times listed like WDW so maybe open that for a couple days just to get a gauge of what wait times are like on a typical day.

I can only speak for Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey, but on a busy day, lines for popular rides can be over an hour long. With the flash pass, it’s only a few minutes most of the time. I usually get the gold. The platinum is not worth the extra $60 IMO

Yeah I'm really finding it hard to believe that a gold pass at Great America is really worth $110 bucks. That's insane to me when a ticket costs 40 bucks. But I hate waiting in line lol

I’m having a hard time with the math here. You joined Ants in 2002.
    Your oldest is 7?

    Doesn't seem hard.

Join at 20 years old, its 20 years later so now you are 40. Your oldest is 7 so you started having kids at age 33.
